CHILD WITH PROBLEMS - HOW PARENTS SHOULD DEAL WITH IT
A persons behavior is hinged on how he/she was brought up. Unless otherwise raised in an aggressive environment, normal people exhibited normal behavior while growing up. So, what is normal behavior in children? It is said that normalcy is dependent on the stages of the childs age, as well as how he/she was developed by the parents both physically and emotionally. If parents expectations are unmet, or there are observed patterns of being disorderly, it could pose problems. Moreover, in misguided children behavioral problems arise. It is important for parents to keep track and decide appropriate behavior at every stage of the childs development. It is equally important to reinforce proper behavior. By rewarding children who have good behavior, the parents are inculcating in the child an expectation of proper behavior. By ignoring bad behavior, children will tend to stop what they are doing over time. It is also crucial for parents to come to the aid of a child with problems. This only instills in the child that he/she has the support of the parents. Become a role model to your children. You should let them show how and what a good behavior a child should have. Do not swear or yell at your child. This will only worsen the situation. views
